Marriage ministries events are open to everyone: married, engaged, and dating couples.

Couples and Marriage ministries bring opportunities for fun, growth, and learning for couples of our congregation. A mix of fellowship events, occasional presenters, and retreats provide opportunities for couples to nurture their relationships, develop relationships with other couples, and grow in Christian faith.

Annual SOTV Coffee House

Back by popular demand! SOTV's Great Hall will again be transformed into a candle-lit coffee house for an evening of music with old and new friends. Enjoy appetizers, dessert and beverages with live music from:

Tom Strohmyer, an SOTV member, long time member of the Rockin' Hollywoods, full-time professional musician and entertainer.

Brian Bremer, Table Worship Band co-leader, will bring his original compositions and fellow musicians.

Rachel Kurtz, who travels the world singing blues, folk, gospel, hip-hop, and even bluegrass, and tells inspirational stories of faith.

Bring a donation for the food shelf and receive an SOTV Coffee House T-shirt in return.

Love & Laughter Valentine's Event

One of the great joys of marriage is the time that you, as a couple, spend laughing together. Join us for a wonderful evening of fun and fellowship with other couples, and enjoy lots of laughs with the love of your life!

St. Paul native and comedian Bob Stromberg will provide entertainment, performing his very unique and perfect blend of story, stand-up and physical comedy. He is the co-author and one of the original stars of the megahit theatrical comedy, Triple Espresso (A Highly Caffeinated Comedy), which has been seen by almost two million people around the world. Bob is sure to provide a little comic relief for our busy lives, reminding us that laughing with our sweetheart really feels good!

Delicious desserts will be served, adding an extra dose of sweetness to this Valentine’s date night.
