Birthday Bash! Celebrating
65+ Years of Life

Sunday, May 2       4:00-7:00 PM                  $10/per person

Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church is having a Birthday Bash! Everyone 65+ years of age are invited for dinner, games, and music. A birthday greeting will be given by Pastor Paul. In addition, there will be a time for everyone to affirm their baptism. !

Monday, April 19

Noon lunch with Greg Martin speaking on “What to know about Co-ops”. Cost: $5

Monday, May 17

Springtime at the Gustavus Adolphus Arboretum in St Peter. Cost: $22 includes transportation by motorcoach, lunch and speaker Naturalist Jim Gilberts WCCO.

The Golden Stitchers

(a.k.a. Senior Quilters) meet year-round every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month, 9:00 AM-2:30 PM at SOTV. All skill levels welcome to quilt, cut, iron and stitch.

Spring SALT Classes

Seniors Learning Together, Inc. (SALT) Classes are offered Mondays April 19 and 26, and May 3 and 10, 9:30-11:45 AM at Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 E. County Rd 42 in Burnsville.

SALT is a nonprofit consortium of 11 area churches, including Shepherd of the Valley, that has offered four-week enrichment courses in the spring and fall since 1997. Brochures will be available at the SOTV Welcome Center by April 4. Contact: Nadine Vogelgesang at 651-423-2586.
