photo Brenda ElsagherStart off the new year with laughter by listening to Brenda Elsagher— comedian, author and national keynote speaker—while enjoying a delicious meal. We're pleased to have Brenda, a cancer survivor who has spoken to many organizations around the Twin Cities and the USA, help lighten our day with her funny and poignant stories. We'll hear how she uses humor to cope with difficulties we face in our everyday lives.

Watch for upcoming Spotlight tables to see her books and find out more information. In the meantime, learn more about Brenda by visiting her website at www.livingandlaughing.com, and register for the January 24th event at the Welcome Center in the narthex or Click here to register online

Life is a succession of ever-changing seasons: seasons of joy and sorrow, seasons of tranquility and instability, seasons of raising children and letting them go, seasons of change and transition, seasons of new beginnings and sad good-byes. Whether you're young or old, married or single, a mother of preschoolers or an "empty-nester," this study will guide you to the pages of God's Word where you will discover how to:

  • Understand and identify the seasons of life.

  • Experience joy, meaning, and purpose in every season of life.

  • Discover contentment in every season of life.
