Justice

Offering of Letters

Just as we use gifts of time, talent, and resources, we are called to use the gift of our citizenship to work on behalf of the poor. We participate in Bread for the World’s annual Offering of Letters, calling on our elected representatives to seek justice for the world’s hungry people.

Caring for Creation

This group works on environmental projects, educating others on caring for All of God’s creation and tackling policies that affect the world we live in. They host an environmental fair each year and hold adult forums to educate and bring about discussion on a variety of “green” topics.

Justice for All 

(Once each year) Contact: Lisa Hegerman 952-985-7329

This is a multi-generational event that focuses on a justice issue such as local poverty, homelessness, affordable housing etc. All age levels are included in both an educational and service component. Guest speakers are typically invited to speak on the topic, basing their talk on the age group with whom they will be working.

SAIL (Showing All Individuals Love)

The vision of SAIL is to provide support and show the love of Christ to individuals with disabilities and their families. Our vision is to include all people thru worship, education, fellowship, service and prayer. A task force meets regularly to work on improving programming to accommodate people of all different levels of ability.
