“Soup-er Bowl” party at SOTV on Sunday February 7^th

On the Sunday of the Super Bowl, February 7th Shepherd of the Valley will host a community-wide fellowship event, during and between worship services, with a spirit of invitation and welcome to visitors. Highlights include:

Grand Opening of our Food Shelf!

Members and visitors are encouraged to bring an item for the Grand Opening of our own SOTV Food Shelf. Bring a donation for the soup pots carried by our youth that day, too. All gifts will benefit the hungry in our area. Wear your favorite football team apparel, and we’ll see which team collects the most food, “winning” our Soup-er Bowl!

Enjoy a Snack

Enjoy "tailgate" special food! We’ll have buns with pulled pork, chips and beverages, along with donut holes, cookies, and coffee. A free-will offering will be taken for food.

Games for Kids and Adults

Get into the Soup-er Bowl spirit and compete! There will be games for kids and adults alike. There will be “FamilyZone in GodZone” that Sunday.  Parents, plan to attend the themed activities and crafts with your children, and worship together as a family with your guests.

Invite Your Neighbors and Friends!

Pick up some football tickets located at the Welcome Center and in the entryways, to use as invitations for others. It’s easy! Offer to carpool to make parking easy!
