Capital Campaign Feasibility
All adults and confirmed youth (16+) are invited to attend and learn information, ask questions, and voice thoughts
about the 2015 Capital Campaign.

• Sundays at 9:45 & 11:00 AM:
10/5, 10/12, 10/19
Each dialogue will include a 30 minute presentation, a 15 minute Q&A and
survey. There will be no solicitation of pledges or gifts at these meetings.

A Saturday Breakfast for Men & Women:
A Ranger's Story, A Family's Faith

This fall we’re combining our separate Men’s and Women’s Breakfasts into one event. (We’ll leave it to you who to sit with!) Our guest speaker is Jill Stephenson, mother of Rosemount Army Ranger, CPL Benjamin Kopp, who died in combat while saving six fellow soldiers. Jill will share stories of Ben’s courage under fire and her family’s grief and moving forward in faith.

A Middle School Event (Grades 6-8)

It’s our biggest, craziest middle school event at SOTV! Find fun every where you turn: bounce around on giant inflatables, play
carnival games, get a makeover at the hair and nail salon, Dance, Dance, Revolution
until you drop, rap with Agape, and so
much more. Bring a friend!

Put your faith into action as you work to package meals for malnourished children all over the world. We will meet for dinner beforehand.

MiMinnesota’s first African-American Supreme Court Justice, Alan C. Page, was elected to the court in 1992. Justice Page is widely renowned for his former career as a professional football player with the Minnesota Vikings in the 1970s. Justice Page is an ardent defender of equal education for children and founder of the Page Education Foundation.
Oktoberfest: An All-Church Event!

This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome to attend. Dannelle is crafting a delicious meal full of German
favorites. There will be special music, activities, and adults 21 & over can receive a ticket to redeem for an alcoholic beverage (beer or cider). Put on your lederhosen, grab a stein, and join us!

Music and costume parade: 7:00 PM
FuFun and familiar Halloween tunes will
be performed in all their spine-shivering glory on the organ by Mark Ertl. Enjoy
a meal of pizza and salad and a costume parade for kids. All proceeds will go
towards the organ fund.

and paradigm-changing. After one recent seminar, a church leader

Special Luncheon for Seniors (55+)

Noon - 2:00 PM
Save the date for a very special Christmas–focused luncheon. Besides a wonderful meal, there will be entertainment from SOTV staff and others, Christmas carols, and sharing of Christmas memories. We think Santa and Mrs. Claus will also make an appearance! This is an event to which it would be ideal to invite a neighbor or friend. It is open to the
whole 55+ community.
