Journey to Haiti: Summer 2012
Thinking about Summer 2012? We are! Shepherd of the Valley will be sending a group of senior high youth (students must have completed 10th, 11th, or 12th grade) to Pignon, Haiti through the organization Haiti Outreach. Space is limited!
Download an information packet for trip details and answers to many frequently asked questions. Packets are also available in the Children, Youth and Family (CYF) Office or at the Welcome Center. Please submit a completed
application form by Monday, October 17.

Kick-Off Night for 6th-8th grades is on
Wednesday, September 21
and 9th grade Kick-Off Night is on Wednesday, September 28.
Parents are asked to attend this first Confirmation session along
with their children.
*Youth in 6th or 7th grade can choose from one of the following times: 3:15, 4:30, 5:45, or 7:00
PM. Classes for 8th grade meet at 3:15, 5:45 or 7:00
PM (no 4:30 class). The entire 9th grade class meets at 7:00
PM.

Return completed forms to the CYF office so that we have
your medical information and can place you in a
small group!
Mondays at 6:30 AM

read a bit of scripture, and pray (not to
mention enjoy a tasty breakfast treat).
Pastor Randy and other youth staff will meet
you in the early mornings at the Apple
Valley Panera (off Cedar and County 42), and
we guarantee you will make it to school on
time, perky as can be.
URL (Unwind, Recharge, & Learn)
Wednesdays 8:00-9:15 PM thru the school year. Meet in the Shepherd’s
Room for snacks, games, conversation,
prayer, music, and time to unwind and
recharge mid-week. These informal gatherings
are the perfect place to connect with church
friends, invite others, and get to know some
new people.

Team! Bring your friends, bring your
instruments, bring yourselves. For more
