Event has been canceled

Meet Support Dogs!

Learn about two organizations whose specially trained dogs are central to their mission of serving trauma victims. You will meet dogs and handlers/advocates and receive information about the impact of their programs on our community.

  1. 360 Communities’ Victim Support Dogs

In coordination with the Apple Valley and Lakeville Police Departments, 360 Communities’ victim support dogs, Ranger and Coco, provide comfort to crime victims. For example, Ranger has experience providing support in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.

  2. HOPE AACR Crisis Support Dogs

HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response is a national organization whose volunteer canine-handler teams have been deployed to a wide variety of crises and disasters throughout the United States, from student deaths to the California wildfires.

These organizations accept donations. This event is for all ages! Contact lori.bullock@sotv.org with any questions.
