Our Daily Bread Food Shelf

Shepherd of the Valley partners with 360 Communities to operate Our Daily Bread Food Shelf, housed at our church campus located at 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road in Apple Valley, near the Minnesota Zoo.

The food shelf is entirely dependent on donations of non-perishable food and monetary donations to purchase produce and other groceries.

For questions or to get more information about this food shelf, contact Lisa Hegerman at 952.985.7329.

Drop them in the box labeled “COUPONS” outside the Great Hall.

We can always use the following donated items:

Soup of any kind, crackers, healthy snacks for kids, peanut butter and jelly, pancake mix and syrup, canned fruit, canned meat, chicken, spam, spaghetti sauce, and cooking oil.

  • When shopping, keep in mind healthy choices such as low sodium and low sugar options.
  • Please check expiration dates. We cannot accept food that is past the expiration date.

TO DONATE MONETARILY:

We get a lot of wonderful food donations, but we don't always have everything that we need to feed our client families. Monetary donations are used to purchase whatever we need to round out our pantry.

Please prayerfully consider making a donation to support the food shelf. Write “Food Shelf” in the memo line of a check or type “Food Shelf” on the “Misc Benev” line when you give online. Thank you for your support!
