MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a faith-based support group for mothers of children ages birth to kindergarten. Meetings may include speakers, outreach projects, crafts, and small group discussion as well as other enriching activities.

MOPS@Mondays
Meets on selected Mondays, 9:30-11:00 AM September through April. KidCare is available.

What is MOPS@? MOPS@Mondays is an intimate MOPS Group.  We are a faith-based group of mothers who have children aged birth through kindergarten. 

Meetings start with fellowship, which includes coffee/tea and a light snack.  A variety of relevant topics are discussed throughout the year.

Meetings also include occasional crafts and guest speakers.

There are social events outside of the regular meetings for our group to get together and have fun.  MOPS is a wonderful respite for those moms who are worn out from a busy life.

Our group will not exceed 12 Moms.

When is MOPS@? Meetings are preset for select Mondays 9:30-11 am September through April at SOTV.  The first meeting of the year will be September 15^th.  Moms are welcome to join at any time throughout the year. (Space available)

What is KidCare? Moms can fully relax and enjoy themselves during  MOPS@ meetings while knowing that their children are well cared for in our KidCare program.

While in KidCare, children play, do faith-based activities, and have a snack.  Children remain in the same room all year, so they are able to make friends and get to know their teachers and friends well.

Our Teachers are paid staff which have been background checked by the church and they work hard to provide a caring and nurturing environment for our children.

How much does MOPS@ Cost? All moms need to pay an annual fee to MOPS International of $23.95.  As part of your required registration with MOPS International, Moms receive The Mommy Diaries: Finding Yourself in the Daily Adventures. (2008-2009 theme book), six issues of MomSense magazine, and a weekly email magazine.

The Monday MOPS@ SOTV registration fees, which help pay for KidCare, are as follows:

0 Children in KidCare - $0.00*

1 Child in KidCare - $50.00*

2 Children in KidCare - $100*

3 or More Children in KidCare - $150.00*

Limited financial assistance is available, please inquire if you are in need.

* The Monday MOPS@ SOTV fees listed above are for the ENTIRE year, which consists of 15 sessions, September through April.
