This is the third in a series of monthly updates on Capital Fund activity, sharing progress toward our Capital Campaign objectives. A financial update is available with other reports on the Council webpage. For specific questions, e-mail council@sotv.org.
In March 2016, Council approved the designation of $50,000 from the Capital Fund toward debt reduction, facility, and outreach. With this designation, we paid $40,000 toward principal, allocated $7,500 to the facility, and allocated $2,500 to outreach.
Two facility projects have been established for the remaining fiscal year: major repair of the parking lot (starting with the south end), and improving building security. The latter project’s goals are to enhance the security of our building entrances for preschool students, staff, and volunteers, and more effectively greet and assist visitors.
