Summer is coming! At church, this means the end-of-the-year for some programs and events and just the beginning for others. Ministry is exciting and year-round at SOTV! We are grateful for all the ways in which each of you are part of the life of this faith community.
The Church Council and Leadership Teams have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming 2016-2017 Fiscal Year. All confirmed members of SOTV are encouraged to attend.

Celebrate Ministry
We are grateful to God for blessing and enriching the ministries of SOTV. Come hear the good news and celebrate what has been done together as partners in ministry.
For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us.

Balance Our Budget
At last year’s annual meeting, the congregation approved a deficit budget (with expenses expected to be higher than income) for the 2015-2016 fiscal year. It was also announced that the Council would not recommend a deficit budget for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. With that, leaders have been tasked to balance the budget. Find out how we are doing and what is planned.
