Who can be an usher?
People of all ages can be an usher – groups, families, and friends! We will provide instruction.
What does an usher do?
Ushers make everyone feel welcome when they come for worship or to an event at SOTV. Greet with a smile, pass out bulletins or programs, assist with seating, collect offering if needed, direct for communion, collect bulletins, and tidy up afterwards.
When are ushers needed?
For worship services every weekend and for special events at SOTV. In December, there are additional opportunities with the Sounds of the Season concert and multiple Christmas Eve services.
Why should I volunteer to be an usher?
It is a great way to meet new people and get involved in the ministry at SOTV.
