Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. But, there are a lot of people that can’t afford three meals a day. Let’s make sure they don’t have to skip breakfast!
Shepherd of the Valley partners with 360 Communities to operate the in-house food shelf.
The food shelf is entirely dependent on donations of non-perishable items and monetary gifts to purchase produce and other groceries. For monetary donations, please make checks out to “Food Shelf.”
Any non-perishable items are greatly appreciated. The food shelf non-perishable items can be dropped off at the box in the narthex or on the shelving outside the Great Hall. Items we can always use: soup of any kind, crackers, healthy snacks for kids, peanut butter and jelly, pancake mix and syrup, canned fruit, canned meat, chicken, spam, spaghetti sauce, and cooking oil. Healthy options are highly recommended. Please check expiration dates, we cannot accept food that is expired.
Thank you for your support!
