We'll see the Cosgrove House (founder of Green Giant), the original Mayo House and we'll see some of the oldest rocks in the world. We will learn about the causes of the Dakota Uprising as we make stops at the Fort Ridgely Battlefield, Lower Sioux Interpretive Centers, and Birch Coulee, the site of one of the hardest fought battles of the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862. In Redwood Falls we'll visit the Little Yellowstone of MN – Alexander Ramsey Park and Ramsey Falls. We'll also tour the Gilfillan Historic Farm and stop for a delicious dinner along the way.
