If you have a loved one or are caring for a loved one living with dementia/Alzheimer’s, attend this support group to share about your own struggles and needs, identify and reduce personal stress, learn communication skills for challenging situations, and much more.

This confidential group is facilitated by two capable Easter members, Angie and Shirl, and is open to anyone.

Angie Swetland served seniors for over 40 years in faith-based not-for-profit settings, including 19 years at Presbyterian Homes and Services where she oversaw Dementia Care education and programs. She has helped develop and teach the Dementia Care Specialist certificate program offered by the Alzheimer’s Association of MN/NDShirl Behles.
Shirl Behles was sole Caregiver for her husband for five years. He died from Early On-Set Alzheimer’s at the age of 60. She has worked with Wilder Foundation for four years as an active trained volunteer where she teaches skills to help with the Caregiving Process along with supporting Caregivers through a program called PS I Understand.
