You are really beginning to
make the transition from being
a kid to being a young adult.
You are gaining more freedom, a greater sense of independence and (especially with your 16th Birthday) more mobility.
You are being encouraged to take a stronger look at who you are, where you are headed, and what you are going to make of your life. You are beginning
 to seriously
uncover your true identity.

Through the High School Ministry here at Shepherd of the Valley we seek to create a safe place where you can explore who you are and help you to discover that YOU (with all of your gifts, talents, strengths, weaknesses, and quirks) ARE TRULY A LOVED & UNIQUE CREATION OF GOD.

Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church College Scholarship

This need based scholarship has been established by the Children in Need Committee with monies raised by the annual Shepherd of the Valley garage sale. This scholarship is open to congregation members demonstrating need, who are planning to enroll in post secondary education/training.

Applicant must be a high school graduate, or have earned their GED, and submit a completed application. The scholarship application review process is confidential.
