About Shepherd of the Valley Food Shelf:

Shepherd of the Valley partners with 360 Communities to operate our in-house food shelf. We typically assist 43 families weekly.

How you can help:

  • Give to the General Fund, which supports all of our ministries.
  • In-Kind donations needed (no monetary support needed for these ministries now). Please put all donations in paper grocery bags, and leave on the metal rack near Door 3 at SOTV on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
    • Non-perishable food and paper bags, for the Food Shelf
      • Most needed items: hard taco shells, taco seasonings, canned pineapple, canned mixed fruit, canned mandarin oranges, brownie mix, cream style corn, cream of chicken soup, boxed scalloped potatoes, canned corn
    • Children’s artwork, for Easter cards and people who are ill (in hospice care, nursing homes, and homebound)
    • Masks for hospitals. Follow one of these two patterns: Allina Health website and Freesewing. Can you donate 1/4″ elastic? Contact us.

Please check expiration dates; we cannot accept food that is expired. Thank you for your support!
