Christmas is coming early!
Help families by donating gift cards (receipts attached) in denominations that are multiples of $25 from Target, Walmart, Visa, MasterCard, or Amazon.
Armful of Love, our annual Christmas Gift-Giving Program, is only collecting store gift cards this year. Face-to-face contact will then be minimized, and limiting gift cards to the above stores ensures that families can shop online and have gifts delivered to their homes if they wish to avoid stores or do not have transportation. This modified approach allows parents to shop for their own families, adding dignity and choice to their holiday season!
Consider an average need of $100 per child and $50 per adult that families could use for clothes, toys, and more. SOTV is supplying $2,500 worth of Cub gift cards to help families with grocery needs.
There are two ways you can help this year:
- Drive-thru drop-off day: Bring your gift card donations to SOTV on Saturday, October 10 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Just pull your vehicle up to door 3 and volunteers will be available to take any gift cards you have to donate. Please be sure to wear a face mask (volunteers will be wearing them too). Receipts and gift cards can be taken from hands or the trunk for contactless drop-off.
- Donate directly through 360 Communities: Go to their website to sign-up. Drop off dates and times for gift cards will be on their website.
SOTV partners with 360 Communities to help support families through their Armful of Love program that helps pave the way for families to maintain long-term stability. We hope you’ll join us in this early Christmas opportunity to support our neighbors!
