School Supply Drive

When & Where

June 1 – July 16: Collection
July – August: Organization of supplies
August: School supplies delivered

What to Expect

This month, just as the 2022-23 school year is ending, SOTV will start preparing for the coming academic year by supporting students at Diamond Path Elementary School, Scott Highlands Middle School, Falcon Ridge Middle School, Dakota Ridge School, People, Inc., The Link, and 360 Communities.

With the rising cost of everyday essentials, many families are feeling stretched to provide what each child needs for the coming school year. As a church rooted in this community, it is a joy to partner with local schools and nonprofits that will distribute school supplies to the children and youth most in need of support. There are many ways to participate in the fundraiser this year. Choose one or more!

  • Now through July 16, purchase and bring school supplies from the wish list (see right) to SOTV. Place items in the large donation bins located in the Narthex. We will handle the rest!
  • Purchase items online at When you check out online, items will be automatically shipped to SOTV.
  • Provide a financial gift at With these gifts we can get bulk discounts to purchase more for the dollar. Click the Black “Give Now” button and choose “School Supplies” in the drop down.

4th and 5th grade students for the 2023-2024 school year are invited to come and participate in a summer service project on July 26. They will be shopping, sorting, and preparing school supplies for shipment to local schools and organizations in need.
