What to Expect
We are not designed to raise children in isolation, so let your church support you!
Little Lambs allows adults to find friends and community with others in similar life/caregiving stages, and for infants and toddlers to experience church as a safe and fun place to be. Connect with other parents, grandparents, and caregivers in a casual and welcoming setting while the little ones explore the nursery, chill on a blanket, or rest in your arms.
The target age range is birth through kindergarten, and older siblings are welcome to join.
- Unstructured play,
- Introductions and brief check-in among adults, and
- A short circle time where we:
- Sing a song. 🎵
- Welcome infants and toddlers by name. 👋
- Read a short Bible story. 📖
- Share a blessing. 🙏
Shepherd of the Valley is committed to welcoming people of all abilities and working to understand and meet the needs of our congregation. If your child needs an accommodation, modification, or assistance to fully participate in this event, please indicate this in the “Health Concern Explanation” field of your registration, and your program leader will follow up if there are questions. We may not be able to meet all requests at this time.
We intend to take photos and/or video at this event, which may appear in worship, social media, website, or congregational communication without names listed. If you have a concern about this, please email Kelsey Young.
