What to Expect

Invite a friend. Come see why so many feel at home here!

All are invited to this two-day class led by Pastor Corey Fuhrman to: 

  • Understand what membership means  
  • Learn about the mission and vision of our church  
  • Get to know other new members and people in our faith community  
  • Tour the building  
  • Learn about different opportunities to get connected  

    • Do I have to be a member? Membership isn’t required to worship or be involved in the wonderful programs we offer. Membership is only required to be married here or to serve on Church Council. Yet, many people feel their faith deepen and their sense of community grow as they commit to intentionally living out their relationship with Jesus in community with others. 

    Childcare

    We encourage families to attend. Childcare will be provided with a minimum of five registered participants by Sunday, August 16. Please indicate any need for childcare in the registration.

    Can't Make It? Join the November Class!

    If you cannot make the August class, the next upcoming New Member Class is a two-night course held at Shepherd of the Valley on Monday, November 9 and Monday, November 16 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. It will be led by Pastor Corey Fuhrman.
