What to Expect

Our August bike ride will be on the Dakota Rails Trail starting at the Sovereign Winery in Waconia and heading east towards Wayzata. There are numerous places to turn around including Mound, Gale Woods Farm and the Lafayette Country Club. The winery opens at noon but they allow us to use their parking lot as we return there for lunch. The winery is located at 9950 N. Shore Road, Waconia. It has a beautiful shaded patio to enjoy a glass of wine and lunch. 

We will meet there by 10:00 AM to start the ride and return for lunch around 12:15 PM. Please email pswiggum@gmail.com by Monday, August 10 to let us know if you will be joining us. Hope to see you on the 11th!

Helmets are required. In case of inclement weather, we will cancel the ride by 8:00 AM on the morning of the ride.
