What to Expect

Enjoy catered sambusas and meaningful conversations while we send off Pastor Peter before his visit to our partners in the Iringa Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania. The picnic will take place by Holland Lake at 1100 Cliff Rd, Eagan, MN 55123. 

Bring prayer requests and ideas to support future Tanzania travel. We will discuss the importance of this ministry, hopes for the future, and ways to make travel more accessible. Feel free to bring additional food/drink, if desired.

Why it Matters

Shepherd of the Valley has held partnership with those in Tanzania since 2001. Nurturing those positive relationships, engaging in cultural exchange, and supporting each other’s communities continues to help us learn and grow as good neighbors.
