What to Expect

For more than 25 years, SOTV has partnered with Lutherans in Tanzania through the Saint Paul Area Synod’s Bega Kwa Bega ("Shoulder to Shoulder") program.  A core commitment of this partnership is to have regular time together in person.

Join us for ice cream in SOTV’s backyard!

  • Hear stories from Pastor Peter Harrits about his recent trip to Tanzania connecting with our three parish partners.
  • Join us for an exciting 25th anniversary trip to Tanzania in 2027, or plan on traveling with us for a 2028 intergenerational trip! 
  • Whether or not you have traveled to Tanzania in the past, bring your questions and curiosity.  We will discuss trip costs, timeline, fundraising, trip priorities, and more. 

In case of inclement weather, we will move the party indoors.
