Join the Traveling Shepherds to visit Minneopa State Park near Mankato. The group will meet at Shepherd of the Valley at 9:15 AM to carpool.

What to Expect: 🦬🍬 

See one of Minnesota’s largest herds of bison up close in the enclosed area of Minneopa State Park!

Please bring your own picnic lunch. Rain or shine, we will eat together under a covered pavilion. We will then have time to enjoy the hiking trails, two scenic waterfalls, and bird watching.

On our way back, there will be time to visit Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store in Jordan, MN.

Please bring $20 per person. The money will be used to cover the $7 per car entrance fee, the cost of reserving the pavilion, and will help with reimbursing drivers for fuel.
