Registration will close 48 hours before the event so the kitchen can prepare for the volunteers.
What to Expect
Open Arms of Minnesota is a nonprofit organization that prepares and delivers nourishing, medically tailored meals free of charge to critically ill Minnesotans and their loved ones. Their work is made possible by a loving volunteer community.
This volunteer opportunity is open to everyone! We will prepare, portion, and package food for medically tailored meals - no culinary skills necessary! Youth age 8 and older are eligible to volunteer.
Upcoming 2026 dates: 11/20, 12/18.
Dress code:
- Shoes must be closed toe. Sandals of any kind are not allowed in the kitchen.
- Shirts must have sleeves. Tank tops/sleeveless shirts are not allowed in the kitchen.
- Bottoms can include pants, long skirts, or long shorts.
Reminders and general information:
- If you are experiencing ANY symptoms of illness, we ask that you please do not volunteer.
- The Open Arms of Minnesota Saint Paul building is located at 380 E Lafayette Frontage Rd, St. Paul, MN 55107.
- We have a parking lot available with plenty of space to park.
- When you arrive, check in at the reception desk and enjoy treats and coffee in our Volunteer Lounge!
