Faith Community (Parish) Nurse Program
Who We Are
Shepherd of the Valley (SOTV) Faith Community (Parish) Nurse Program began in 2005 with a grant from the Fairview Foundation. Since then, SOTV has supported the training and continuing education of nine Faith Community Nurses.
Do you want to get involved?
If you are a nurse or someone looking to help out with care ministries, we invite you to stop by and talk with someone from our team. There are opportunities to…
- lead a class
- help with blood pressure checks
- be a friendly visitor
- and more (let us know what you have in mind)
We would love to talk more with you about your skills and interests! For more information, please contact Julie Opheim, Wellness Coordinator.
