Tiny Try-It-Out: Popsicle Prompts

You can participate in Planting Hope this Lenten season by talking with others and praying with and for them! “Popsicle Prompts” make it fun to incorporate prayer and meaningful conversation into your day. Gather a handful of popsicle sticks and fill them with topics for prayer or conversation – then, whenever you feel stumped, pull a prompt for a quick check-in with God and people who are important to you!

Parents, use your own discretion when it comes to your kids. If content is rated for certain ages then we will indicate that. Enjoy!

Pause, light a candle, & take 15 minutes for caring conversation and prayer.

Share: What were your high and low points today?
Read: Luke 6:28. “…pray for those who mistreat you.”
Reflect: Some prayers and conversations come more naturally or easily than others. How can Popsicle Prompts help us to talk about or pray for things/people we might not focus on otherwise?
Pray: Dear God, challenge and encourage us to talk to You and others about new and interesting things. Today I pray for [name] to feel Your love and care. Amen.
Bless: Trace a cross on each other’s shoulder, hand, or head and say “[Name], you are a beloved child of God.”
