Joy Choir
Ages 3 - 6

Rehearsal: Sundays from 10:45 – 11:00 AM 

About this group…This Pre-K-K choir will sing fun songs while learning music fundamentals. There will be lots of movement to music in this energetic group! Our youngest singers will grow in their faith in a positive environment and have opportunities to sing at worship services and the holiday concert at SOTV. 

Kindergarten students may sing in both JOY and Cherub choir. This group will sing at the Sounds of the Season concert and at the 9:45 AM service 3-4 times a year.

Cherub Choir
Kindergarten - Grade 1

Rehearsal: Wednesdays from 5:00 – 5:30 PM   

About this group…Cherub choir provides a fun, positive environment. Singers will continue learning music fundamentals and begin learning proper vocal technique as they sing songs of praise at worship services one time a month and sing in the holiday concert at SOTV. 

If your child would like to sing in Cherub choir but cannot attend on Wednesday nights, please contact Kari Anderson. 

Celebration Choir
Grades 2 - 5

Rehearsal: Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:00 PM 

About this group…Celebration choir learns music fundamentals and proper vocal technique skills while praising God in a fun and positive environment. These singers will have leadership opportunities as they assist the director in creating choreography and model excellence in group singing. Small group and solo opportunities are available to this choir as they lead worship once a month and participate in the annual holiday concert at SOTV.

Lighthouse Singers
Grades 5 and up

Rehearsal: Wednesdays from 4:00 – 4:30 PM

About this group…This group of singers will be singing more challenging music and sing in parts.   

They will help to lead worship at the 8:30 and 9:45 AM services once a month and will be featured at the Sounds of the Season concert and the morning Christmas Eve service.

Chapel Chimers Handbells
Kindergarten - Grade 1 

Rehearsal: Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:00 7:00 PM
Performances: Chapel Chimers ring once a month at worship throughout the school year.

About this group…An introduction to the art of ringing! We learn the basics of handchime ringing and some fun songs.

Grace Notes Handbells
Grades 2-5 

Rehearsal: Wednesdays at 5:00 – 5:30 PM  
Performances: Grace Notes ring once a month at worship throughout the school year.

About this group…We learn the basics of ringing handbells using one, two, or more bells (depending on experience and ability) and learning great music.

Valley Vibrations Handbells
Grades 6 - 12

Rehearsal: Wednesdays at 5:30 – 6:15 PM    
Performances: Valley Vibrations ring once a month at worship throughout the school year.

About this group…he repertoire for this group is more challenging than that of the Grace Notes.
