What to Expect

Players of stringed instruments (guitar, mandolin, banjo, violin, cello, etc.) are invited to join for a play-along. Don’t play one of those instruments? Come and sing! Songs lyrics and chords will be projected on a screen.

The session will be led by three members of Cut Thyme, a ukulele-forward (but not ukulele-exclusive) band based in La Crosse:
  • Dan Rooney, ukulele, baritone ukulele, guitar
  • Diane Brose, bass ukulele
  • Sue Wrobel, piano, violin, ukulele

Song sheets will come from the Ukes of the Valley songbook and from Cut Thyme's arrangements.

Be on the lookout: A playlist will be posted to the Ukes of the Valley Facebook page the week before the event.

Ukes of the Valley is a local ukulele group that welcomes all skill levels to have fun, grow as musicians, and share music with the community.
