Join us for our first ride of the season on Thursday, May 21 and be ready to ride at 10:00. We will park and meet near the Main Beach at Lake Nokomis. There is free parking on W. Lake Nokomis Parkway. Try to get close to the Brown building at 5001 W. Lake Nokomis Parkway. If the free spots are taken (doubtful at 10:00 on a Thursday morning), there is pay parking in front of that building. We will ride around the lake (about 20-25 minutes) on the designated bike trail, then cross over to the Minnehaha Parkway and head toward Lake Harriet which takes about an hour round trip. Those that wish can add another ride around the lake.

We will gather for lunch at Carbone's restaurant, 4705 Cedar Ave. about 12:15 to 12:30.

What to Expect

Do you love to bicycle along beautiful traffic-free trails? Join us and bring a friend to our monthly rides. Both experienced and beginning cyclist will find the outings enjoyable as the length of each ride is designed to be flexible.

We will meet at 10:00 AM at the trail, bike for up to two hours and meet for lunch at a designated restaurant. More information about the trail, lunch plans, and RSVP request will be sent a week prior to each month’s ride.

Helmets are required. In case of inclement weather, we will cancel the ride by 8:00 AM on the morning of the ride.
